The Anatomy of Energy and Healing with Andrew Shier

This presentation will be an exploration into the field of energy and an understanding of the part of our anatomy that is energetic in nature. What is it? How can you access it? How can we use it to assist with the healing processes in ourselves and those we care about? How is it connected to simply living a more balanced and sane life? Specific consideration will be given to an energetic healing modality known as Attunement. Andrew Shier, RCT is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist and Master Attunement Teacher, has been a healing practitioner for over 30 years. Free. All are welcome.

Friday Night Film Series: Cry, the Beloved Country

From the packaging on the DVD: "Powerful and uplifting, CRY, THE BELOVED COUNTRY was widely hailed as one of the best films of the year in 1995. In a land torn by hatred and injustice, James Earl Jones and Richard Harris are two fathers -- one a man of peace, the other a man of power and privelege -- whose lives seem destined for a violent collision. But instead, in the wake of a tragic killing, these extraordinary men form an unlikely union ... and together find the kind of understanding that could heal a nation! Based on the acclaimed novel by Alan Paton, this electrifying motion picture will both entertain and inspire you!" Free admission and popcorn thanks to the Friends of the Library.
