Congratulations to Brianna DeBanico who won the great white tiger and a book about endangered species and to Anna McGuiness who won the Nook eReader! Weekly winners of smaller prizes were: Mackenzie Wetherill, Gabrielle Ramsden, Tyler Fernands, Rylee Blanchette, Kelly Akerley, Nile Hertzler, Veronika Raczek, and Anna McGuiness.
We had 54 participants for the Summer Reading Program this year and 518 books were read. Not enough to get the director to slide into that pool of Jello (600 books were needed) but a respectable showing. Anna McGuiness read the most books at 36!
Thanks for everyone's help and participation this year. We couldn't do it without the financial support of the Hancock Woman's Club and the Friends of the Library, who fund so many of our programs.
