The Soul of an Octopus Discussion Group with Henry Walters
Borrow a copy of Sy Montgomery’s book The Soul of an Octopus at the front desk (thanks to a grant from the NH Charitable Foundation we have multiple copies of the book for our Big Community Read) and then join us on March 30th for a discussion of the book, led by Henry Walters.  Mr. Walters is a teacher, naturalist, falconer, and former steward of the Willard Pond Wildlife Sanctuary in Hancock. His writing about the natural world appears on a blog for The Old Farmer's Almanac, and his first book of poems, Field Guide A Tempo, has been named a finalist for the 2016 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. He is currently Writer-in-Residence at the Dublin School. This program will be presented again on Tuesday April 19th at 2:00 in the afternoon. Free and open to all!
