Town of Hancock, Official Notice March 13, 2017
The Hancock Town Meeting will start as planned on Tuesday March 14th at 8am in the Hancock Town Office in the lower floor meeting (Barbara Caverly Meeting Room) as announced in the published warrant. The Moderator will ask for a motion to postpone the meeting with the intent to reconvene the meeting on Thursday March 16th at 8am. The intent of this is to postpone the Hancock Town Election and other items requiring a ballot vote (this includes the CONVAL School District Ballot). The remainder of the town meeting which addresses Articles 1- 20 will remain as posted for Saturday, March 18th at the Meetinghouse at 9am.
As per the recommendation of the Governor’s office, absentee ballots will be available at the polling station from 8am to 7pm on Tuesday. The absentee ballots will also be available during normal business at the town hall on Wednesday March 15th.

Town Clerks office is open today Monday March 13th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Voters may obtain absentee ballot applications during this time.
The Town Office Administrative Office will be open from 8:30am to 12:00pm on Tuesday March 14th.
Annual Town Meeting will open Tuesday March 14th 2017 at 8:00am
Annual Town Meeting will reconvene on Thursday March 16th to vote on ballot of the Town Officers and all other matters requiring ballot vote.
