Check Out the 2010 Pulitzer Prize Winner for Fiction

A little known author recently won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for 2010 and the Hancock Town Library has had his book on the shelf since last June! Pick it up before the word gets out and everyone wants to read it. Tinker, by Paul Harding, was published by a small nonprofit named Bellevue Literary Press which is affiliated with New York University's Medical School. The Pulitzer Prize website describes the book as "a powerful celebration of life in which a New England father and son, through suffering and joy, transcend their imprisoning lives and offer new ways of perceiving the world and mortality."
