Thursday November 15th at 7:00 PM ~ Author Ernest Hebert
Keene native Ernest Hebert will be at the Hancock Town Library to read from his latest work, Never Back Down. The New York Times has this to say about Hebert’s work: “He writes with a grace, precision, and humor that makes one feel he will do for the hinterlands what John Updike did for the suburbs.” Hebert is the first and only fiction writer to be granted tenure at Dartmouth College. He is currently director of creative writing at Dartmouth but is best known for the six-book Darby series of connected novels revolving around the imaginary New Hampshire town of Darby. Free & open to all thanks to the Friends of the Hancock Town Library. For more information please call the library at 525-4411.
